Year 6 Health Week

During Health week, Year 6 took part in a range of activities looking at how they can keep their minds and bodies healthy. This included work around growth mindset and how they can improve their positive thinking in challenging situations, learning about the skeletal muscles and how exercise is important for a healthy body and mind.

For those that were interested in the delicious bread recipe, it is as follows.

500g strong white bread flour, 1/2 packet of bread yeast, 1 1/4 teaspoons of salt, 2 teaspoons of sugar, 300ml tepid water.

1) Mix ingredients together,

2) Need and leave to prove for around 2 hours,

3) Need again and shape.

4) Bake at 200 C for around 20-25 mins (We split our dough into 4 sections before cooking. Times may differ if you cook as a whole loaf).
